My kids and I have been in a very difficult season over the last several years. I KNOW that it will not last forever, but I am in a position in this current moment that requires me to reach out for practical, financial help.

We moved to Florida from Kentucky and in with my parents in December of 2024 to have family close by who could be more involved. We moved back to Kentucky a few months ago because we could not find a new place that we could afford in Florida after our home flooded this last October, as well as other big problems regarding healthcare/ services that we could not get established. We are working to get established again in our home state, but we have had a lot to overcome through the process.

My youngest has a high level of support needs which has made it difficult to work in a typical setting. We have been a homeschool family, but our current circumstances are not permitting us to continue. It's been a challenge, as we believe for and watch God heal and restore. I’m a single mom. We are restructuring our lives in many ways, including returning to public school and going back to the "regular" workforce. I am working part time now but the majority of that income is going back to childcare. I have so many - hundreds - of resumes submitted, but none of the positions have been confirmed yet.

I need to say that it is BECAUSE of the help of our brothers and sisters in Christ, family, and BECAUSE OF the blessings from our Heavenly Father (EVERY good gift comes from Him) that we have made it as far as we have. It is ALL because of His goodness that we will make it the rest of the way across this Jordan, this Red Sea season in our lives. We could never have made it without you all.
