My wife and I founded RedRiver creativemedia to share stories about Oklahoma. Although it has been a challenging journey, it has also been very fulfilling. We have mostly self-funded our projects, with some assistance from local churches. However, for this particular project, we are planning to crowdfund a significant portion of the budget.

Our documentary, Trans Oklahoma, revolves around a small group of people who were once part of the Trans movement but later chose to detransition and return to their biological sex. We will be interviewing detransitioners, parents of children who have transitioned to the opposite gender, as well as lawmakers and experts in child psychology in the state of Oklahoma. Our mission, as always, is to approach this subject with empathy and respect, as we understand the importance of gaining someone's trust to tell their story.

Our previous documentary, Saving Clayton, was released last year and brought the Woolley family's story to the forefront of our state's attention. We were honored to receive the Best Documentary award at the Will Rogers Film Festival last November and plan on submitting it to more festivals in 2024.
