Antioch University is using their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program to train counselors who will impose "social justice" ideology on their clients. Counseling students are trained to steer clients into conversations around race, taught that "white women's tears" are to be ridiculed, and encouraged to join racially segregated groups: a "BIPOC affinity group" and a "White accountability group."

Antioch teaches counselors to affirm even young children in transgender identities, and to "de-gender everything" (exchanging the word "women" for "AFAB People with Vulvas" or "People with Uteruses") in order to support the trans agenda.

University Administrators push heavily to influence students using partisan political talking points in direct student emails, and faculty members openly admit that they are "not training counselors who will be able to work with the Trump supporter."

Counselors coming out of this program are to see themselves as "agents of social change" for SJ "diversity, equity, and inclusion" values. Programs like this are seriously compromising mental health services and higher education.

I have been a student in the CMHC program at Antioch since 2019 and have pushed back on this ideology all along, and have been reprimanded, intimidated, and dismissed by teachers, advisors, and administrators. I planned to continue through the program and get my Master's degree despite my concerns, but near the end of my coursework I hit a hard roadblock: teachers at Antioch are now compelling students to sign a "Civility Pledge," which is a pledge to social justice, in order to take classes. I will not sign this pledge.

I want to sue Antioch University for a full refund of my tuition. On the advice of an attorney with whom I have been working I am setting up this account to request your help in funding my lawsuit and associated costs. If I am successful this will set a precedent for future student lawsuits against biased educational institutions and send a powerful message that this attempt to remake our culture by using counselors to exploit their access to vulnerable people is unacceptable. If through your generosity I should have funds in excess of the amount needed for legal costs I will put them to use in continuing to push back against authoritarian polarization.
