Update #4 - Oregon Citizen Has Added a Citizen Journalist Page & A Take Action Page

Hello Oregon Friends!
Thank you so much for your generous support of Oregon Citizen! There are 2 additional pages that have been added to the Oregon Citizen website. There are some great citizen journalists doing independent work here in Oregon and you might want to check out the page. CITIZEN JOURNALISTS
A purpose of Oregon Citizen is to give opportunity for Oregonians to make their voice heard. There is now a page titled TAKE Action. On this page there will be opportunities posted where you can submit public comment, do additional research and make your voice heard about important topics. Check out TAKE ACTION
Both of these pages will be updated as more information is submitted so check back often!

So excited to publish YOUR STORIES!
In the last 4 years Oregon and Oregonians have become the "click bait" of national and international media. We have allowed other media to tell our story and now it is time for us to tell OUR story!
The Oregon Citizen is ready to TELL YOUR STORY!
If you have a story to tell of what it has been like for you living in Oregon please submit your story!
Once you submit your story you will be contacted by an email from oregoncitizennews to verify and qualify how you want your story to appear. If you know of Oregonians that want their story heard please share the link with them!

Update #2 WEBSITE IS LIVE

Thank you so much for your continued support! The website is launched and Oregon Citizen has it's FIRST ARTICLE!
Currently there are 3 sections to Oregon Citizen: 1. Articles: Issues and information that Oregonians want to know! 2. YOUR STORIES - We have let international, national news and influencers tell our stories. We have become the clickbait of the world. NOW it is time for us to tell our own stories. You can submit your story via the website. It will be reviewed and you will be contacted about publishing it. 3. RESOURCES - There is a page with resources for Oregonians. A search engine to look up your Oregon legislators as well as a link to OLIS (Oregon Legislative Information System).
This will give people more access to the information that is gathered by Oregon Citizen. It will "house" information off of social media and people that do not want to be on social media or have access will now be able to search the website.
If you want to stay up to date with what is published on the Oregon Citizen website you will want to submit your name and email on the homepage.

I want to thank everyone who has given to Oregon Citizen! I want to share with you an update!
The person who said they would build me a website has built the core and will be unable to finish it. I will be putting in hours this week to get it completed and launched. On the website there will be articles about topics that YOU as an Oregonian care about.
A place for Oregon Citizens to submit THEIR personal stories. Many of us have been affected by so many things in the last 4 years, mandates, job loss, broken relationships etc. I want to give a page on Oregon Citizen so that people can tell their stories!
On the website there will be a link to RESOURCES! Resources such as: how to look up your legislator, how to access OLIS (Oregon Legislative System) and important information such as how much ESSR money your school district received during the pandemic!
