Hi everyone,

Though we are happy to see the GooseAndMaple.com vision finally come to life, we are still, however, refining it by working out the bugs and ironing some creases.

That said: I want to take this opportunity to thank Melissa Lauchli: the woman of my dreams, my JJ partner, and the central individual who has made this all happen. Without Melissa, there would be no Jabless Jobs Incorporated, and certainly be no GooseAndMaple.com. She has done almost everything needed to keep us moving forward. Melissa's work includes, but is not limited too: front-end website design, beck-end website wireframe design(s), social media, customer service, administration, bookkeeping and accounting liaison, and consulting me with her point of view before and after I appear on podcasts, news programs and/or attend meetings.

It's fare to say that I'd be lost without Melissa and I certainly wouldn't have gotten Jabless Jobs/Goose and Maple as far as it's come if she wasn't such a driving force behind it all. Lately, I've referred to her as a "Canadian Hero." And I think you will all agree. Countless Canadians have found employment due to Melissa's relentless ability to show up everyday and get things done. She has done this all without pay, and at times, with very little food. And though she might not like me saying all of this to you because she doesn't want to be singled out or made into the hero of this story, I am saying it anyway because she truly is a Canadian Hero.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to share with you all a summary of how we've recently structured ourselves as a team, and why I feel we are well positioned to stick it out for the long haul.

As some of you know, we left Vancouver last spring, and moved up to Whitehorse, Yukon, where I have taken up work as a support pilot driver for truckers when that haul wide loads. I am working full time at it, to support Melissa, myself, and our dog Chip, so that Melissa can continue to work full-time for Jabless Jobs, and so that we can reinvest all the funds earned from Jabless Jobs/Goose and Maple back into the company.

This past summer, we hired another Melissa. Literally.. lol, her name is really Melissa. Melissa Laplante to be specific. Mrs Laplante is our part-time support to Melissa Lauchli. She's done a lot of admin work, and will soon be helping out with customer service. She's also the mother of 2 lively young children and an advocate for homeschooling. She's been a perfect fit for the JJ team.

As for me, and what I do: when I'm not driving 40+ hours a week, I am composing email templates, writing and refining all language used throughout the JJ ecosystem. I am the thinker behind the JJ Inc brand. And over the last 18 months, I've been reading and studying about business and socio economics, so that I can, with confidence, complete and refine our JJ Inc company profile and vision for the long term.

Sadly, our website development costs have gone way over budget, and getting the site to where it is today has taken over a year longer than we originally expected. I'm told this is normal results for any complicated website development, but it's still been very us mentally. Perhaps this is why most people give up. It's that cliché saying: "If it was easy, everyone would do it" But having said all that I want to assure you all that we are not giving up. We are going to keep the team small, continue to work from home, so that we can keep our prices low and persevere as we serve all the brave Canadians who have inspired us to keep going over the last 27 months. And I want you all to know that we are only now at new beginning, we're just getting started, and we're settling in to be the company that formed out of the madness of Covid-19 mandates, and that Jabless Jobs will remain committed to fulfilling our mission of providing an avenue towards economic freedom for all Conscious Canadians who believe that Integrity and Industry Experience are more important than disclosing personal medical information.
