My angel Angela is in need of Medical Air Transportation back to her home country of Costa Rica.

We have known each other for 10 years and have celebrated our 2nd anniversary in April. Her chances of making it to our 3rd are not that good. She has stage 4 metastatic cervical cancer that has spread to her skull and protruded inside the cranium cavity, her pelvic area spreading significantly affecting her left leg. There is not much more the medical world can or will do that will help her at this point, it is only palliative care or pain management. Her pain is so severe even with medication, it has made maneuvering a challenge with her left leg unable to handle much weight for even a period beyond a few seconds.

This has made a commercial flight impossible, we seek your help for Medical Air Transporation so she can travel lying down as this is her only comfort.

Our expected expense is still being worked out but it likely $55,000 for air transportation, medical help within Costa Rica for care and transporting from the airport there to a home we would need to rent for the next 3 to 6 months. I estimate $15-30,000 to do this and we cannot do this without your help. We were hit very hard by this diagnosis in many ways.

She has 4 adult children who all live within a close vicinity of each other in Costa Rica as well as her only granddaughter, and their ability to travel extensively is extremely burdensome with work schedules and time off allowances. I will have difficulty caring for her on my own at this point. Our life dreams together have changed with this disease, our new dream is to get her home to Costa Rica so the 5 of us can continue to care for her for the time God allows.

It is my hope and prayer that you can give and give generously today. The time frame to travel is As Soon As Possible, because at some point even the Medical Air Transportation will be too burdensome. Her prognosis is as little as a few weeks to few months, medically it is just described as less than 6 months.
