Hi GiveSendGo community. My name is Marissa and I am a January 6 defendant. I was turned into the FBI by my husband, at the time. I was a law enforcement officer before that day and lost everything. Like many others, I was stripped of my career, my 1st amendment rights, my 2nd amendment rights, called a domestic terrorist and a threat to society, put on domestic terrorist watchlists (Quiet Skies), slandered through media, local and nationally, had my private information violated from Ez-Pass, and had many companies choose to not do business with me, among other things, simply for walking inside the Capitol and chanting "USA!" I was and still prove to be an upstanding citizen, but regardless, our government tried to make an example out of me. In addition, I have paid tens of thousands of dollars in criminal defense attorney fees plus divorce attorney fees. I've finally hit a point where I simply can't do it on my own anymore. I now have a different battle - I'm fighting to prove that many of my Constitutional rights were violated in court.
