Hi everyone! Once again from the bottom of my heart I cannot thank you enough for all the support, you all have surpassed my expectations! I just wanted to offer an update on what is going on.

I have been in communication with a lawyer who was in the middle of transferring law firms, so he ended up passing off the case to another lawyer. I just got off the phone with her and she is looking into everything now, I feel like I am in great hands with her and she will get stuff done. We are working on a protective order.

Apart from that, right now my self defense weapon is a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield which I adore, but it is the bigger version and it is hard for me to conceal it unless I am wearing a huge oversized hoodie. So for that reason I am going to use some of the funds to get the compact version of the M&P Shield for conceal carry, and I also am going to start putting time into the range to improve my proficiency and ensure I am comfortable enough to use my gun in a, God forbid, emergency situation.

I also purchased a doorbell camera with part of the funds and will likely get at least one more for more coverage as well.

Additionally, I have set aside the amount of taxes I will have to pay as well. I don't know how much things are going to cost with the lawyer, but I will give an update once that gets settled. For anything leftover I will continue to tap into for my gun range visits/ ammo, potentially another gun like a shotgun so I have a weapon accessible to me wherever I may be in my home, and I am considering adopting a german shepherd for an added layer of protection (I just want to make sure I can handle the extra responsibility of a big dog before I commit to that). Anything else leftover I will keep in savings should I need it down the road with this stalker situation or if something else similar happens. But rest assured, I absolutely will not use any of the funds for anything else other than my self defense related needs.

Thank you all again, I have a lot more peace of mind about the situation now and feel a lot less alone in this knowing people are in my corner. I will continue to give updates down the road as well.

I also have paused the campaign because I do not foresee needing anything more than this at this time; in fact, I feel like this is already plenty enough to hold me over for a long time with my self defense needs.
