And that goes for convicted felons and other criminals. In the 1920 presidential election, the outspoken socialist Eugene Debs campaigned for president from a federal prison in Georgia. Debs was charged and convicted of sedition in 1918 for his fiery speeches denouncing America's participation in World War I. Running as "Convict No. 9653," Debs won 3.5 percent of the vote in 1920.

More recently, the fringe politician Lyndon LaRouche ran for president three times in the 1990s and early 2000s after serving seven years in a federal prison for defrauding the IRS.

How old does he need to be? 

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Born May 6, 1998, Mr. Mangione will be eligible to run for the 50th president of the United States of America at 37 years of age. 

Obviously a very intelligent young man, with plenty of time to gain even more knowledge while serving his sentence, it is my belief that Mr. Mangione will be a great addition to our government and will be able to enact the changes necessary to reform our healthcare, prison systems, government, and any other corrupt institutions that currently screw over the American people. 

If current politicians do not want to do anything to change the system, we need a President that will. #LuigiMangioneforpresident
