Hi! My name is Relicia Morrison and I have been an independent artist in music for 10 years, musically known as RelliKay. I am the founder and CEO of IndieVation LLC, a faith-based company whose mission is to provide materials, finances, and resources to independent artists in the music, art, and gaming industries. We have ignited this campaign to raise the funding to host our first ever annual music festival fundraiser, IndieVASION Music Fest! As an independent artist in music, I know how much of an uphill battle it is to be successful without having the tools you need. The modern day music industry thrives through selling artists a dream only to leave them repaying debt for the rest of their careers. This has limited the creativity, freedom, and ownership of so many artists, big and small. Here at IndieVation, we emphasize artists stepping into their God-given calling without fear of being limited or controlled. Our company is a catalyst for independent artists to thrive with no strings attached. We plan to host three annual fundraisers for the industries that we serve. We are kicking off our mission with IndieVASION Music Fest because music is personally near and dear to my heart. I am passionate about artists having creative freedom, especially if they are called to create music! Maybe you are someone who has been looking for a cause to support that caters to helping catalyze the talents of the CREATORS in this world; look no further! This festival will be hosted in Dallas, TX! During the process of this festival, we plan to give all independent artists that apply a chance to be showcased on the stage. We will choose 25 artists and they will also have the opportunity to sell their merchandise and be featured on our growing platforms!
