Help Total Disclosure: Replace/Repair Hacked Gear

My name is Alessandro du Châtel, a private investigator, writer, filmmaker, and founder of Total Disclosure (since 2018). I investigate and expose human trafficking, child exploitation, high‑profile crimes, and abuses of power—guided by truth, justice, and accountability, with a focus on protecting children, women, and the elderly.

In April 2026, I suffered a severe hacking incident that destroyed and compromised most of my production gear and workstations. I was forced to buy an emergency laptop just to keep going, but it cannot run Adobe Premiere properly—it lags and freezes, making professional editing impossible. I even had to purchase a $250 webcam simply to be able to live stream again.

Now I’m launching this campaign to repair and replace the damaged equipment so I can return to creating full‑length investigative documentaries, rescue critical evidence locked on a hacked machine, and continue reporting from the ground—starting in Spain and across Europe. You can read more about the hacking incident and its impact here:

Why This Matters

Total Disclosure is an independent investigative platform that has brought attention to:

  1. Human trafficking and child exploitation networks
  2. High‑profile crimes and systemic abuses of power
  3. Patterns of corruption and institutional failure

In 2021, my work on a domestic abuse/sex trafficking case contributed to the closure of Volafile, then the world’s largest illegal porn cloud and a hub for traffickers and child sexual abuse material. This work comes with real risk—and real cost.

Because of my public stance and the nature of these investigations, I’ve been blacklisted by many employers. Companies often Google me, see my documentaries and activism, and treat me as persona non grata. At the same time, my Portuguese nationality process—already filed—is stuck in the backlog created by the current migration situation, which delays my ability to be legally hired in Portugal.

The website income barely covers basic expenses. I have not been asking for help out of convenience; I’ve been trying to hold the line with both hands tied, while facing ongoing sabotage attempts against my equipment through hacking and electronic interference.

What Your Support Will Fund

All funds will go directly to repairing and replacing essential equipment so I can resume full‑length documentary production and field reporting.

1) Refurbished High‑Performance Desktop — $1,000

  1. Needed to run Adobe Premiere and other editing tools smoothly.
  2. Exact model will depend on availability and pricing when funds are ready.

2) Refurbished High‑Performance Laptop — $1,000

  1. For editing, research, and secure field work.
  2. Must handle multi‑cam 1080p/4K timelines without constant lag.

3) Repair Hacked Mobile Phone — < $200

  1. Absolutely critical: I’m locked out of my Instagram account (23k followers) because I lost access to the 2FA app tied to that device.
  2. Recovering this account will dramatically improve my ability to promote and grow Total Disclosure.

4) Repair Two Damaged MSI Laptops — < $400

  1. These will serve as spare equipment.
  2. Repairing the hacked laptop is critical to rescue the hard drive containing unpublished work and critical evidence that still needs to be secured and processed.

5) Quality Camera for Field Reporting — $1,000

  1. To report on current world events with real‑time, boots‑on‑the‑ground coverage, primarily across Europe.
  2. First stop: Spain, focusing on issues such as mass migration’s impact on European communities and alleged EU policies harming citizens.

Total goal: approximately $3,600 (rounded for platform and transaction fees).

My Background

  1. Studies: Psychology, criminal profiling, forensic and computer science.
  2. Experience: Risk management, pattern recognition, digital investigation.
  3. Roles: Private investigator, writer, filmmaker, founder of Total Disclosure.
  4. Mission: To defend human dignity, pursue truth, and protect the most vulnerable—especially children, women, and the elderly.

This work is not rooted in nostalgia or ideology, but in responsibility: to truth, to conscience, and to future generations.

How You Can Help

  1. Donate to this campaign to help rebuild the technical backbone of Total Disclosure.
  2. Share this page with anyone who cares about investigative journalism, anti‑trafficking work, and accountability for powerful institutions.
  3. Follow Total Disclosure for updates on cases, documentaries, and field reports.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to getting back on my feet and producing the kind of long‑form investigations that mainstream outlets won’t touch.

Thank you for standing with truth.
