I spoke to my son!! He is ok and the Army Corp of Engineers came in and have placed a temporary bridge so the folks on the other side of the Nolichucky River in Greene county can now get out. He still has no power or water or  cell service along with all the folks who live out there. But he is alive and ok. 

We had a successful semi trailer drop today in Greene County. Word from boots on the ground, FEMA was a no show. TEMA came in and took supplies and took them elsewhere. I will not disclose at this time where we dropped off to prevent confiscation. In a couple of days when they have given it all out, I will share the wonderful folks that we worked with and their charity. I have sent pics to Pinball. I have more to send. This was a lot of work to set up for my husband and I, but by golly we got it done. 

We had folks in need showing up before the truck was even completely unloaded. The need in Greene and Cocke county is great. 

I am going to send an in depth email to Pinball to give more info to share in a video. 

I also want to thank Patera from Appalachia's Homestead with Patera and all her followers and folks who are donating. This has become so much larger than I thought I would step off into. I am up to the challenge and will get this money and the supplies to Greene and Cocke Counties. 

Thank you all so much. We are worn out after four days of this and I hope you will forgive me for catching up on paper work and emails and all the rest that has gone along the wayside with this. Please do not look for an update from me tomorrow, Hopefully Pinball can let you know where we are somewhat tomorrow although today's afternoon video was a pretty good accounting so far. 

I cannot express enough how much all this means to me.

The trucking company mentioned in the video today that donated the truck, trailer, driver and fuel is TLD Logistics Services out of Knoxville, TN. We were able to send in some photos and a couple of short videos of our truck today. A huge and hearty thanks for their help and donation. 

Will update as soon as I can. Still lots to do.

I have not been able to contact my son today. 

I did make contact with a wonderful lady with a charity today that we can pass some supplies to and she can pass out to the individuals in the area. 

The only bridge that was opened was damaged but they were allowing one car at a time. That has been since closed. They are now cut off again. 

We have sourced a semi trailer so we can get a load of supplies uo to the area. 

God is Great!!

I have heard from my son again. They have opened the Ashville HWY bridge. It has sustained heavy damage. The Army Corp of Engineers have shown up, at least from what he could tell from the uniform. They are letting one car at a time on the bridge. He did finally make it to town, but no stores were open. He is going to send photos as he can with limited service. All of Greene county has no water although apparently some do have power. Not where my son and his neighbors are though for now. 

I am now still waiting to hear back from him.

I absolutely appreciate all the help and prayers and donations! Praise be to God that we can do this.
