We are Chantal and Teofano, an Orthodox Christian family from Costa Rica with two small children (1 and 3 years old). We lived a very stable life until Teo lost his job in February due to mass-company layoffs. Fast forward 6 months and hundreds of job applications later, nothing has panned out and we’ve burnt through our savings and fallen behind. Teo has since gone back to teaching as a private tutor and Chantal has started up a cooking business while still being a stay-at-home mom. The teaching especially has gone well thank God, but to add to the pressure we were evicted and have had to do our best to save up for the first and last month in a new house as well as try to keep up with all our other expenses.

We are asking for help, either monetary donations or help of any kind, in order to begin to get ahead. We are working hard to grow our businesses and have kept steadfast in the search for any other job opportunities, but what we need is time and time that we don’t have for our financial situation to stabilize. Teo is currently enrolled in online school on a partial scholarship and is pursuing a degree in Theology. He hopes to join seminary one day, but our payments for that have also fallen behind. We feel we have looked into every option we could think of in order to help our situation, but we don’t know what else to do. If you are able to help in any way we would greatly appreciate it.
