Some of you already know Drew and Micki Vroman through LandSailing, Powered Paragliding, Flight Lessons, and life in general.  You may also know that Drew has had to deal with some pretty dramatic and challenging health issues over the past several years. Despite those challenges and difficulties, Drew and Micki operated at least two small businesses, serving LandSailing and Small-craft flight.

They worked very hard, over many years and long hours.  They were building a dream situation...a dream business...a dream location. But recently, (the past Summer), Drew sustained another injury that flat-out stopped his ability to work on his own business creations. As that injury proved to be debilitating enough, an illness overtook him that was serious in that he constantly felt sick, couldn't eat solid food, drink much of anything, and hold-down very, very little.  His body was suffering with (and from) this illness, that could not be medically addressed due to the financial strife brought on by the effective shut-down of the businesses.

Life, these days, is very expensive, as we all know. It did not take long until the financial situation became dire. National Health Insurance was no longer serving him, as his major leg injury ate-up all of his lifetime benefit. Medical attention was out of the question.

April 17, 7-months into the situation, Drew and Micki had no choice but to go to an Emergency Room for attention, as it was quite clear that something bad was about to happen.

The Doctors and Techs and Tests divulged the reason for the illness: A large mass was evident in his colon and liver. His liver is really bad!  I need not continue with the descriptions and medical story.  You know...

Drew was admitted as an in-patient at a Hospital in Bullhead City, AZ. and released April 18, with plans for him to go home, "get your affairs in order ASAP."  

He will not endure Chemo or Radiation, and his darling bride agrees. 

Currently, the situation remains fully desperate. They have no money for them to drive back to Kingman, stores, paharmacies, etc...anything...They have no way of paying bills and buying groceries.  

Drew and Micki want to aggressively pursue some of the recently discovered and popularized alternative treatment methods. That will take money as well. However, when you can't buy food, gas, pharmaceuticals, water, etc., the alternative treatments are not looking very likely.

And now, to make things worse, Micki has an URGENT situation with one of her eyes that needed to be addressed last week. (She only divulged that two days ago).

Folks, I've seen truly dreadful and desperate situations before, but this is clearly the worst!
