Please help our community protect and fight for Apphia Noel as she battles the injustice done to her and her children in both California and Georgia.

Apphia recently turned herself in to the courts in California to defeat false charges of child abduction made against her after she fled, in fear for her and her son's lives, from severe alleged sexual and physical abuse at the hands of her now ex-husband, Mr. Noel.

LA County police and courts actively ignored the rule of law by refusing to enforce Apphia's Temporary Protective Order against Mr. Noel from April 29, 2021 - August 6, 2021. After her day in court, CA judge Powell not only refused to extend protection to Apphia and her sons, but ordered Apphia’s children to stay part-time with their father while there was an open child sexual abuse investigation against him, brought about by her son, Jesse Jr’s, own testimony.

In 2021, while still being allegedly stalked, terrorized, and impersonated by Mr. Noel, Apphia documented, with photo evidence, her children coming home from a visit with their father covered in bruises and according to her own account, distressed and unconsolable. Desperately fearing for their safety, and with no protection provided by the "Justice" system, Apphia fled with her sons to Georgia, seeking safety. Despite being granted an Ex-Parte Emergency hearing by the Georgia courts and many witness testimonies of abuse, including accounts by medical and licensed professionals, Apphia's children were violently taken from their home in Georgia and returned to their alleged abuser in California with the aid of law enforcement and CA district attorney investigators. 

Having been stripped of her business by the court (her only form of income) and fearing for her life, Apphia remained in hiding until concerned community members hired an attorney and provided financial resources to enable Apphia to fight for her children.

After trying to escape her alleged abuser and contacting the legal system, every allegation Apphia made against her husband has been turned on her. Without any evidence, and all evidence to the contrary, she has been accused of being crazy, a drug abuser, and child abuser, and a kidnapper.

We are asking for financial assistance to help protect and support Apphia while she is being forced to remain in California awaiting trial. Please pray that honorable judges and law enforcement will stand up to undo this travesty of justice and provide protection and justice for Apphia and her children.

Apphia Noel has an unlawful restraining order against her that prohibits her from speaking about what happened to her and her children. As such we want to be clear that she has not created this fundraiser. Apphia Noel did not write the statement made in our fundraiser nor did any specific organization on her behalf. This description was written by concerned friends in California and Georgia, based on our knowledge of this case provided by numerous witnesses and our review of legal records. California has stolen Apphia's right to freely speak about the grave injustices committed against her and her sons. Apphia will face jail time for simply telling her story. For the same reason, no photo of her or her children has been provided.
