Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to ask for your support during an incredibly challenging time for our dear friends, Tia and Dave. 

In May of this year, Tia was diagnosed with a rare form of cervical cancer. Since then, she has been bravely fighting her battle, starting chemotherapy to treat the cancer. While she has several more rounds of chemo ahead, she will eventually need to undergo a hysterectomy. Unfortunately, her journey to recovery has been far from easy.

Tia has been unable to work since April, and it is expected that she will not be able to return to work until March or April of 2025. With her FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) benefits exhausted, the burden of supporting their household has fallen entirely on Dave, who has been working massive amounts of overtime to make ends meet. As much as Dave is trying to hold it all together, the stress has been wearing him down, and their savings have been depleted.

Adding to the financial strain, there are specific medications Tia desperately needs that their insurance refuses to cover. These treatments must be paid for out-of-pocket, creating yet another obstacle in their already difficult fight.

For those of you who know Dave, you know that he has always been the first to lend a hand to anyone in need. Whether it's a friend or a stranger, Dave goes out of his way to offer help even before it's asked. Now, it's time for us to offer our help to Dave and Tia.

We humbly ask for your generosity, whether it's a small or large donation, to help ease their financial burdens and allow them to focus on what matters most—Tia's health and recovery. Every bit counts and will make a huge difference in their lives.
