Many of us have experienced the culinary love from a plate full of Chef Nick's food or the charisma of Frankie and his big heart. Both of these guys show you that they love you in so many ways.  This is to help them during this difficult time with medical bills, expenses of travel for Frankie, dog walkers, or whatever else they need during this difficult time.   

This year Nick was diagnosed with bile duct cancer.  On Thursday November 16th, Nick went to Duke for the removal of a Cholangiocarcinoma lesion from his liver.  After a 9 hour surgery, he started the process of recovery with PT.  However he was in a lot of back pain.  He gets tranfered to a step down and the pain was worse.  After an xray, it was determined he had compression fractures in his spine.  

On November 27th, Nick had an emergency spinal surgery.  

On Devember 4th, he was moved to a step down room.  He began to hemmorage and coded. This has now become an intense rehabilitation.  He was moved to a center in Raleigh, where he will recieve three hours of physical therapy daily.  He still cannot walk nor function in daily activities and this will be a very long road to recoperate.  

Both of these wonderful men have touched so many lives.  This is our chance to lessen the burden for them to focus on healing.
