Thank you for taking time to read the importance of this cause.  To date, we have 13 upworthy Christian need of sponsorship out the current country they are living in.  For security purposes, these men's names cannot be published nor where they are currently located.  What I can tell you is that these courageous men have been running for their lives since they gave their lives to Christ.  They have fled their home country of Pakistan for safety to another country and lived unable to work or live in that country.  Because of a massive political change in their current place of residence.  These men are once again facing deportation to Pakistan, facing imprisonment or death.  Many of them have already been imprisoned for their faith.  

In a free country, it is impossible to know what it is like to go to bed at night wondering if you will be woken in the middle of the night to be persecuted.  It is impossible to know what it is like to not be able to work and provide for yourself, living in undesirable conditions.  These men show courage and faith every day by choosing Jesus.  May we be more like them in this way.  We do not know what true persecution for our faith is but we can choose to support these men who do with prayer and finances.  Many are facing court dates on a weekly basis with the possibility that each court appearance could mean the end of their life. 

Please consider helping my home church bring them to Canada to live a life of freedom to work and serve Jesus without fear of persecution.  Our church is willing to do the paperwork and the sponsorship but we need your help with the finances!  Every man needs $25,000 to come.  Won't you be a part of this worthy cause?
