Update: November 4th Baby Jamesyn had her 27th surgery. She is currently stable and doing well..however after the surgery she had struggles and for the 4th time God used Dr. Matt to save her life. Even through all the sedation meds her body jerked enough that she managed to pull apart her breathing tube. Within seconds, she began to turn purple and her heart stopped. Dr. Matt did CPR chest compressions and got her heart beating again in under a minute. Her oxygen is reattached she is currently on a small does of paralytic to keep her body from doing this again. She will be sedated for the next week as she recovers.
Baby Jamesyn was born 14 months ago with her heart on the wrong side. The doctors said she wouldn't live but she has and is an incredible testimony to God's goodness for anyone that has the opportunity to meet her or her incredible family. She has had 26 surgeries during her first year of life and is a true fighter with a spunky spirit. Throughout this past year her family has been supported by an amazing network of prayer warriors. This past week Baby J went to Denver Children's hospital where she was supposed to have her 27th surgery and come back home in a week or two. Unfortunately, the doctors found some new issues that increased her risk of infection and her weight was not sufficient for the surgery. They now have to stay indefinitely at the hospital until she gains enough weight and is strong enough for the surgeries she needs.
With the increased cost of travel from Wyoming to Denver and a much longer hospital stay we looking to help support them financially as well as spiritually. Please pray for Baby J and her family and give if you can to help them during this incredibly difficult time.
Merry Christmas, you guys! Keep up the fight, we're praying for you. Love you all.
Our daughter had open heart surgery at 10 months, two spinal fusions by age 13 and her left kidney rebuilt at 25. It’s been an incredible journey of blessing and joy. And yes, she’s a spitfire. She also didn’t really begin to talk until she was walking - at about three years old. School was difficult, our entire family spent two hours a night for 12 years helping. God bless.
We love you guys. We will continue to pray for you daily.
Mom and Dad - Stay strong always and know that God is with you and that beautiful baby girl. She is so special!
Prayers for little baby Jamison and Mom and Dad…..
You are in our prayers!
Blessings and prayers for all of your beautiful family. God has you in the palm of His hand. May he also bless those around you and all of the medical community that works to provide care.
God bless you and Baby Jamesyn!
We pray God will heal Baby J.
God is Good, Thank you for your faithfulness! Prayers to your family!

Alright, Warriors...
Things didn't go exactly as we had hoped with the swallow study.
Yes, the surgery was successful, but unfortunately, Jamesyn aspirated when they tried her on pudding. So, as much as we hoped that she could eat orally, that's not in the cards for a while. We will do a repeat swallow study in 6-8 weeks.
Until then, we thankfully got the ok to give her 1-2 bites of food twice a day for pleasure. We will take it! Her wonderful surgeons feel that due to her recent extubation, all her surgeries, her constant rhino and norovirus issues, and constant prolonged fastings associated with surgeries have caused this failure.
They do, however, feel optimistic that with therapy and time, her muscles will relearn their coordination and she will be able to take more and more orally as she gets older.
While we didn't get the results we wanted, they will come and we praise God for this victory. We are beyond grateful that she is coming home tomorrow and has no impending surgeries to face! What a blessing! Her blood clot has diminished greatly in size already and she will still require shots at home for a bit, but again, we are focusing on ALL the amazing miracles He has done in Baby J. This was her most difficult and toughest surgery to date and she will have had her shortest stay in the hospital yet!
Prayer matters and you all have been pivotal in Jamesyn's journey!

Warriors, are you ready....?!
We expected Jamesyn to be in the hospital close to two months. They are talking about sending her home Saturday!!!!! LESS than two weeks for her most difficult and dangerous of the 28 surgeries to date!
Tonight they pulled her central line and she is at full feeds. Her swallow study is in the morning, so please pray for that! If all goes well, she can eat!!!!
She is super happy and wild and ready to break free. She even has her maracas out!🤣
Praise the Good Lord above! I can't even process the speed in which He healed her!
Also to all who have donated and pledged to pray. I have been trying to send a thank you to each one but haven’t got it done. If I’ve missed you please know I’m trying, but keeping up is overwhelming with all your amazing generosity and prayers!! Thank you!!

Jamesyn is still combatting withdrawals, but is doing much better and getting good rest. Her esophagram is this morning. We are finally able to see if the surgery was successful. Please pray that it all looks good inside and that we can FINALLY start getting some food back in her tummy! She's been on IV nutrition since Monday. Once she tolerates g-tube feeds ok, we can start trying to feed her by mouth, but it's all dependent on the esophagram!

Baby J Update:
God is moving fast, Warriors! Jamesyn had another great night and they are going to remove her chest tube today and her breathing tube late tonight or tomorrow!!
She is going to get a blood transfusion, which is needed. They have had to constantly pull samples to keep an eye on numbers. She always feels so much better after a fresh dump of blood goes in her body.
Once they pull that tube, we can think about waking her sweet little body up!
Keep praying! Jehovah Rapha is working in ways only He can! 💓

Nov 5: Baby J flatlined again last night and again Dr. Matt saved her. Please continue to pray for her and her team as well as Mom and Dad.

As predicted it was a long, tough surgery. Baby J has so much scar tissue from previous surgeries that organs were fused to her chest cavity. The doctor said it was a miracle that they got through it all and found her fistula and diverticulum without causing more damage because they were flying bling through all the ratty tissue.
The plan is to keep her intubated and sedated for the next week. Our current problem is that she is used to the drugs and they wear off faster than they should. Please pray that the meds work and that Baby J does not have more problems and fight her breathing tube.
From Jamesyn's parents: "Thank you all so much for your love and support. We are overwhelmed. We have been taken aback by the generosity and love shown to our family. Our fervent prayer has been that everyone who has prayed, supported, and blessed us will receive multiple the blessings back to them! We are so proud of you all for your faith an obedience to be Prayer Warriors. We love you all!"
