Help our east coast AmRRON operators
Hurricane Helene has destroyed total towns on the east coast. Amrron has several operators in the affected areas and some of them have lost just about everything and yet they are still trying to help their neighbors and community. We have members with loss of homes, vehicles and radio equipment. This is an AmRRON sanctioned fundraiser. The needs will be assessed by the AmRRON leadership and distributed directly to AmRRON individuals in need.

What a blessing to be part of a group of amazing patriots that take care of their own. With almost $5000 raised to help our AmRRON family back east due to hurricane Helene we were able to help three members in a small way. These three amazing guys and their families experienced some heavy damage to their homes and vehicles from trees falling on their properties. Some had extensive roof and vehicle damage. One of the guys in the midst of helping his neighbors had to go to the hospital and is still on the mend. Please keep him in your prayers.
I was personally in contact with all three of them and I gotta tell you, they are truly amazing humble people. If everyone were like them this world would be a better place.
So a big thank you to all of you that gave and prayed for them and their neighbors. I was truly blessed to be a small part of this and I personally thank you for making this happen. AmRRON is truly the best there is with members like you.

Update... Four seasoned AmRRON operators are at the FOB.
Doing great work just at the FOB so far. Getting everyone's radios programmed and they even brought in UHF antennas tuned for FRS bands, for the crews to field expedient vehicle mount.
Another is scheduling RST volunteers from his home (not in affected area) and yet another is helping scheduling and processing D-DET (Deployment Detachment) operators.
Two Corps operators headed there tomorrow from TX and MO.
Grindstone is stoked, and extremely impressed with AmRRON and the capabilities of the operators, and the overall working relationship.
No HF ops needed as of yet. Grindstone is working closely with the sheriff's dept and the EOC, who are also in need of radio operators.
Work crews will be expanding outside the area and getting into no-comms zones, which means no repeaters.
So far, so good.
