We are organizing a small independent reporting project focused on documenting community resilience in a Caribbean region experiencing ongoing material shortages.

This fundraiser will support the purchase of basic humanitarian supplies in the United States, including over-the-counter medical items and hygiene products. Supplies will be provided through appropriate independent, non-governmental channels in accordance with applicable U.S. regulations.

Funds may also support documentation equipment, accessibility needs, and other project-related costs necessary to carry out this reporting effort.

A limited number of need-based scholarships will be available to independent journalists and creators participating in the project. Most participants are covering the majority of their own costs.

All activities associated with this effort will be conducted in full compliance with U.S. law.

Any funds raised beyond core project expenses will support future humanitarian programming.
