“We have already raised and spent about $200,000 over the past five years to get to this point. Now we need your help to finish the film.”
For the past five years, we have journeyed into the heart of Nigeria’s crisis—from sites of genocide to the halls of power—uncovering the truth the world was never meant to see. Now, through our documentary, "Me & Ms. Hanatu," we will bring these revelations to the world.
Tens of thousands have perished. Millions of innocent people—widows, orphans, entire families—have been displaced, living in horrific conditions for over a decade. Nigeria is now the #1 nation for Christian genocide, yet the world remains silent. Why?
We followed the money, traced the policies, and found the proof: U.S. foreign policy enabled Boko Haram, blocked Nigeria from fighting back, and covered it up. The U.S. had real-time intelligence on the whereabouts of the Chibok schoolgirls—and refused to act. Instead, officials turned a blind eye while blood minerals flowed, funding terror and corruption.
But amid the darkness, we found something extraordinary: Light.
Exposé on US support of Boko Haram
This is not just a film about injustice—it is a film about hope.
We met remarkable people who, despite unimaginable suffering, have dedicated their lives to rebuilding, rescuing, and restoring hope. From the courageous orphanage workers raising a new generation of Nigerian youth to the fearless activists saving victims from slavery, these heroes are beacons of light in the dark.
Their stories must be told. Their sacrifices must be known. The world must see both the tragedy and the triumph—the evil and the extraordinary goodness that rises in defiance of it.
We have come so far—traveling to Nigeria 15 times, risking our lives, documenting the untold stories, and finishing principal photography. We can’t stop now but we need your help to finish it.
We need to raise $250,000 to complete post-production and bring this documentary to audiences worldwide.
This is more than a film. It’s a battle for truth.
A battle for justice.
A battle to shine light where darkness reigns.
Will you join us in this fight?
Together, we can tell the world what is really happening. Together, we can shine the light.
