A Small Community Helping in a Big Way

I’m raising support for someone very close to me who is going through an extremely difficult season.

This individual has been my best friend for over 30 years. He quietly poured into my life in ways that have shaped who I am today — helping me develop musical skills I’ve used in worship settings and playing a key role in my faith journey. He has always been the kind of person who gives without asking for anything in return, which is why this page exists without his name attached. He would never ask for this himself.

Right now, serious health challenges have made day‑to‑day life incredibly difficult. Without necessary knee and hip replacement surgeries, walking is painful and daily living is becoming nearly impossible. On top of medical needs, his vehicle is in dire need of repair just so he can continue getting to appointments. Disability claims have been denied so far, and it may be a long road before any steady income is available.

To ensure he is safe and cared for, he will be moving his RV onto our property to live full‑time so we can help support daily living, utilities, and recovery. While we are committed to walking alongside him, there are real and immediate costs involved in making this possible.

Immediate Goal: $1,000

We have identified three critical phases that must be completed to safely and practically get him settled:

Phase 1 – RV Pad & Access (Estimated $1,000)

  1. Rock and road base for the RV pad
  2. Surrounding road base material for safe walking and general access

Phase 2 – Parking & Electrical (Estimated $1,000)

  1. Road base for a small parking area
  2. Expanding an existing outdoor electrical panel to add a dedicated 30‑amp RV connection

Phase 3 – Driveway Entry (Estimated $1,000)

  1. Installing a culvert pipe
  2. Finishing a functional, all‑weather driveway entrance

The full scope of needs will eventually exceed this amount by 4X (including future items like a small septic system), but these first three phases are essential for basic safety, access, and livability.

How Funds Will Be Used

Donations will go directly toward:

  1. Materials (gravel, road base, culvert, electrical supplies)
  2. Contracted Labor work and/or machine rental.
  3. In addition to financial gifts, we are incredibly grateful for:
  4. Donated labor
  5. Equipment (skid steer, grading equipment, etc.)
  6. Connections to contractors or suppliers willing to help reduce costs

Every contribution — large or small — helps move this situation forward.

If you’re unable to give financially, prayers and sharing this campaign are just as valuable. Thank you for helping protect the dignity of someone who has given so much to others and now needs support during a very hard season.
