Steve Ford is a daddy of 5 and grandpa to 3, husband to our mom (Angela). He has been a nurse doing patient care for over 30 years. 

Dad has always been one of the most hard working and energetic people his kids have ever known. Our classic memories are of him coming home from twelve hour shifts at the hospital to go prune the fruit trees or work in the garden for a bit before wrapping up a day- all while being there for his kids and sharing in their lives. 

Dad rarely ever gets even a cold, so the recent news of his diagnosis of multiple myeloma has been a shock to all of us. He has just always seemed so invincible, the one who takes care of everyone. 

Dad has blessed many people and now as friends and family have heard about his current challenges, some have asked for a venue to show their love and support. 

Dad is a hardworking man and though he has to temporarily leave his work right now in order to treat his condition, he hopes to beat it and return to his post of duty as soon as possible, Lord willing. However, during this time there are many expenses related to his treatment that will not be covered by insurance. Any gifts given here will be used to help cover those costs.

Though the road ahead is uncertain we know that “all things work together for good to them that love God to those who are called according to His purpose”.
