Friends, many of you are going about your lives, occupied with every day tasks, jobs, worries, fears, even joys and celebrations. But America, we have multiple gun shot wounds to our body, we have states that are bleeding out, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and more. The devastation that has taken place should have rocked the Nation 10x more than 9-11, but many aren't even aware of what has happened. As someone who covers the news almost every day of the week, I can tell you America, we are not ok. We have citizens who WATCHED their loved ones WASH away and DIE right before their eyes. They watched their homes float down the ROAD because the road turned into a river. People are stranded still without food, water, Internet, homes, cars, having lost livelihoods, farms, cows, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, cats and dogs... This is hands down the worst disaster in American history. I'm thinking of and praying for these victims ALL DAY LONG. I guess my question is, why isn't the entire nation? But I'll tell you, enough people ARE aware, ARE praying, have mobilized and put ACTION to their thoughts and are SAVING lives. We have seen some of the greatest American heroism in the past week and a half that any of us has ever seen in a lifetime. I can assure you, the American spirit is ALIVE and well. Christian charity, goodness, kindness and selflessness is ALIVE and well. And if you want to see what the heart of our people looks like, look no further than those in the path of hurricane Helene, because nothing has ever shined so bright. So what can you do? You can PRAY, DONATE, SHARE STORIES AND RESOURCES. Tell your friends, family and neighbors to do the same. We have a GiveSendGo set up, I'll put the link in the comments, but you can also find people locally in your town who are driving supplies down and you can donate actual GOODS. Winter is coming faster than we'd like, these people are going to need supplies. Not just initially, but for the long haul. Come on America! We can do this!
