In January 2021, Timothy Cristian, a Nursing Home Administrator at the Charlottesville Health and Rehabilitation Center, faced a difficult choice: comply with his employer's COVID-19 vaccine mandate or stay true to his deeply held Christian beliefs. Despite his sincere request for a religious accommodation, Medical Facilities of America (MFA) denied his request and ultimately terminated his employment.
Timothy's case is about more than just one person's job—it's about standing up for the right to practice one's faith without fear of retaliation. He is now engaged in a legal battle against MFA, asserting that his rights under the Virginia Human Rights Act were violated. Unfortunately, legal battles are costly, and Timothy needs help to cover legal fees, court costs, and other expenses.
We are raising funds to help Timothy afford the legal representation necessary to hold MFA accountable and defend the rights of all individuals to freely practice their faith and enjoy medical freedom and bodily autonomy in the workplace. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference in his fight for justice. Your support will not only help Timothy but also send a message that no one should be forced to choose between their faith and their livelihood.
Please consider donating and sharing Timothy's story. Together, we can support religious freedom and stand against discrimination.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
