🌞☀️ "In the heart of Mandalay, Myanmar, where life, due to the current civil war, is dangerous and difficult, there's an orphanage called A Home for Hope. This isn’t just any home; it shelters precious souls who have known too much loss and darkness already. They need light—the kind that stays even when everything else fails."  

In this corner of the world, where our church and orphanage stand, electricity isn’t just a luxury; it's an essential lifeline for safety and security. The power grid fails us constantly, and the current electricity prices are high and rising.

The current situation is dire: unreliable supply leads to constant disruptions in the most basic of activities—from lighting and cooling our home at night to keeping food and medicines unspoiled. Our orphanage has become a battleground against electrical surges, which not only frustrate but also destroy what we have fought so hard to restore and maintain.

The power doesn't just go out; it often returns in a cruel surge that harms both peace of mind and resources. It has been a silent killer, leaving behind the casualties of destroyed kitchen appliances and other costly and hard to replace computers and other electronics.

Yet amidst this persistent struggle, there’s hope—God has given us the sun! This is where you come in: your support can turn these flickering dreams into a reality of a sustained power supply. A solar panel system with battery storage could change our story drastically. It promises sustained self-sufficiency and security against surges. There is also long-term financial stewardship, though initial cost is high the saved funds from no electric bills can be redirected to feeding, educating and caring for the children and expanding our outreach of meeting more needs in the community
