Supporting the Family of Michael Little
Michael Joseph (Mike) Little died unexpectedly on December 25, 2023. Mike and his wife Gloria had been married for 32 years. He also leaves behind a son (David) and a daughter (Rose).
Mike loved fountain pens. When he was younger, he would have trouble keeping the ink in ball-point pens flowing due to not pressing hard enough. That was him: he went through life lightly. And just as those pens he loved, he, too, left an indelible mark on all he touched. If you've ever received an automated phone call from a doctor's office and confirmed an appointment with the push of a button, Mike has touched your life too. He developed the first hardware to make that happen.
Mike provided for his family working on homes in the area and doing renovations for a local handyman friend until, at his father’s urging, he finally decided to become a residential electrician, starting his own business: Little's Electric. He loved helping people and solving problems. He worked on hundreds of homes and businesses throughout the Upstate and would come home with stories of the new people he had met, and whether or not he had befriended the household pets. He also volunteered with the American Red Cross for over 20 years and provided electrical expertise and general assistance on many houses for Habitat for Humanity. Being an electrician, he brought light with him in every sense.
Mike Little died as he lived, with his boots on his feet, providing for his family. Mike’s death has left his family truly heartbroken. The unknown has only added to the tragedy of his death. Now, the family he loved needs some extra help. As the sole provider, Mike's passing has left a huge financial burden on Gloria and the family. The home they lived in together needs immediate repair, including structural issues in the basement, structural repairs to floors in main rooms, a crumbling deck (which is also a fire exit), and removal of trees that are encroaching on the house. The Father is showing His love through many connections. Gloria will be able to utilize those connections for the much-needed repairs on her home, helping the funds raised to go as far as possible.

Gloria and her family were affected by Hurricane Helene in that the tree in the front yard was blown onto the front to the house. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
