Last June I visited Uganda and became friends with couple of pastors there. Being raised in a former Eastern Bloc country hard life is not new to me. I was shocked though to see how difficult their lives are, especially for the kids. Joshua and Nixon, the two pastors are trying to influence as many kids as they can. They run a Sunday school where some of the kids eat the only meal that weekend. They also started an elementary school to make basic education affordable for poor parents. Education in Uganda isn't free. The pastors believe in giving the kids basic education and some kind of trade: hair braiding, carpentry, maybe auto repair. It's a vision they want to come true. I don't have enough money to support them so I am hoping some of you will recognize how blessed our lives here are and help me. They need kid's bibles, soccer balls, toys, money for food, repairs, teachers. They would like to buy the land the Sunday school is built on (with the school). etc.
This is my first campaign so please forgive me any mishaps. I believe that with your help God will provide.
