Hello, my name is Elizabeth Cuevas Neunder and I am a victim of our HOA board, and their attorney. Would you consider to me help to raise funds for legal fees to defend our home, our faith, and our dignity.

My husband and I have lived in our Sarasota County, Florida home for over 35 years. We built it from the ground up with love and sacrifice — never taking vacations, just so we could afford this home. We raised our children here and have lived a life of service to our community and our faith. I have volunteered for decades. We've done our best to live by what we believe. I have been targeted for my religious beliefs and my ethnic background. They have been trying to force us to sell our home. Our home is not for sale.

 My husband is 77 years old and I am 71 years.

For the past six years, we have been relentlessly harassed by certain neighbors and an abusive HOA board — all because I am a Conservative Christian Puerto Rican. We have faced:

• Discrimination and selective enforcement
• False accusations
• Stalking and defamation
• A frivolous lawsuit meant to force us out

We were ambushed in mediation with a $66,000 legal bill. My husband is a heart patient, and the stress has taken a terrible toll on us both. I haven't even got to present critical video and photo evidence. We've already spent over $75,000 in legal fees — draining our fixed income and retirement savings — and we simply cannot keep up with the mounting costs.

They want us to give up our home. We refuse.

This is extremely hard for me. I’ve always been someone who gives — volunteering, mentoring, serving — and never thought I’d be the one asking. But now, we desperately need help.
