As most of our community has been ravaged by Hurricane Helene, we have lost our house.  With nowhere to go and everyone without power, we are struggling to find safe shelter.

My name is Rebecca Brink. My husband, Robert Sr., 15-year-old son, Robbie, and I have lost our home in Valdosta, GA due to Hurricane Helene. We run a small junk removal and appliance delivery business, Brink Movers, LLC., and are now out of a safe place to live. Our whole state of Georgia has been ravaged by this devastating storm.

We had sheltered in place in our home when the first of many trees fell into our kitchen and destroyed our roof. Another tree sliced our bathroom clean off of our home. Several more trees fell onto each other and broke our water pump, and one fell and snapped our power pole in two.

We have 2 cats and an elderly dog that aren't allowed in the shelters. Any funds that can allow us to find stable shelter or a place to rent that has power and running water would be a blessing! Please help us find that!
