Firstly, I want to give another huge “thank you” to all those who have donated! We are also honored to see so many donations made in memory of my wonderful uncle, Joseph Marciano. We are truly touched by this and appreciate all the generosity and the kind words! ❤️

We had a rough weekend with a trip to the ER which turned into a 3 day stay in the hospital. Theodore had been having some concerning spasms last week, so the neurologist wanted him to stay overnight for observation. We ended up with a 48+ hour EEG. Theodore did great (he was extra calm and comfy at the hospital for some reason!), but mom and dad are exhausted since we had to take turns watching him all night so we could note any spasms to guide the neurologist reading the EEG. But of course he had no spasms the entire time we were there! They ruled out one type of seizure based on his baseline EEG, but we don’t know for sure what is causing his spasms. They think it could be pain/reflux related since he went so long without any seizure activity during his stay. While we’re thankful for no seizure activity, we are also left with many unanswered questions.

We thank God that his other recent tests and follow-ups have been good and he’s overall doing well, to the surprise of his medical team! He hit the 3 month mark last week 😁 💪 We had a wonderful night nurse start recently, who we are very grateful for! We are still waiting to find a day nurse to help out. It is a LOT of work caring for our sweet boy, while also working, watching Abigail, pumping around the clock, and back and forth to the city for appointments! I also am on a very restrictive diet until we can figure out what’s causing some stomach issues for Teddy, which is really difficult. But I’m not complaining. It’s a privilege to get to do all these things for our sweet boy, and we thank God every day for the time we’re getting together as a family.

We greatly appreciate the continued prayers. We’re especially praying he is kept safe from getting sick, for a strong heart and for his stent to remain adequate, and for wisdom as we decide whether to do 2 procedures that carry small risks but would help make him more comfortable.

We thank you all again. We’re so grateful not to be so stressed over finances while we focus on the extensive care our sweetheart needs every day. ❤️
