It was an eye opening experience being elected to serve the people of Northfield and Franklin in the New Hampshire General Court. Despite attempting through legislation and investigation to bring to light the truth on a number of issues such as the tax on federal income and the takeover of our government by corporate interests (Big Pharma perhaps?) my efforts have been hindered by a combination of ignorance and fear.
It has occurred to me that through the office of sheriff I will be able to truly hold the state and federal officials currently trampling on our rights to the limits prescribed to them in the state and federal constitutions.
