Gala’s Giving Heart

The last week of March, Gala Becker suffered a heart attack, which damaged her heart terribly, and was placed on life support. We are hoping for a chance, by God’s miracle, that her heart will heal. However, a heart transplant is almost inevitable. She will not be a viable recipient without the financial means to meet the criteria. In order to get care for the transplant and medical care and medication for the rest of her life, the financial burden is going to be tremendous. Financial stability and insurance are primary deciding factors when selecting heart transplant potential recipients. No matter what, it ultimately comes down to money with the hospitals.

Gala is our sister, daughter, wife, mother, friend, sister-in-law, granddaughter and now grandmother(Gigi). She is a lifeline for our entire family. She does so much for others without ever asking for anything in return. She’s always there for whoever needs her help without question. Kindness and selflessness are undoubtedly her strongest qualities.

Her faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ, is so strong and you can’t imagine the positivity and strength that she has shown each and every day as she allows these life support machines sustain her life.

Gala is a beautiful soul who deserves so much more time on this earth to share her love and faith with her loved ones and friends. Gala’s husband Chuck and son Jake pray over her daily. They need her. Her granddaughter needs her. We need her. Our community needs her. The world needs her. She makes it a better place.
