If you know Ryan Sharp, you know he’s the guy who’s always there for everyone—one of my family’s favorite people and our next-door neighbor for the last 10 years. Rain or shine, Ryan’s the first to lend a hand, fix anything, or help build something amazing. But this time, Ryan needs us to show up for him.

Yesterday, the Sharps received devastating news: after brain surgeries in 2015 and 2016, Ryan’s cancer has returned, and a third surgery is imminent. When I visited him, I was amazed—he’s still in good spirits, facing his worst nightmare with resilience. If you know Ryan, this doesn’t surprise you.

His biggest request? Prayers. Lots of them. He believes in the power of prayer and asks you to join him and his family in praying for healing, peace, and strength.
