Your support has been invaluable, enabling us to navigate two successful surgeries for Nilo.

For those unfamiliar with Nilo’s journey, he was born with a severe form of hypospadias, a complex birth condition requiring multiple surgical interventions. Despite the challenges, Nilo has shown incredible bravery, and his resilience inspires us daily. Nilo’s third and (prayerfully) final surgery is approaching, scheduled for March 24th. While we’ve made significant progress in covering expenses, we are now facing financial hurdles. After insurance, our deductible for this upcoming surgery is just over $4,000. We have successfully booked and paid for our hotel, but additional travel expenses remain.

Nilo's surgeon has also recommended 15-20 hyperbaric oxygen treatments post-surgery to expedite healing and minimize complications. Although insurance will cover part of these costs, we anticipate spending between $1,200 and $1,500 for the covered sessions, with total costs potentially reaching up to $2,500 for treatments not covered. Furthermore, we incurred unexpected costs from Nilo’s last surgery, including an additional $1,500 for anesthesia, which was not completely covered by insurance.

We humbly seek your assistance in covering these remaining medical and travel expenses. Every contribution, whether it's $5, $50, or simply sharing this fundraiser, plays a crucial role in helping us alleviate the financial burden and ensure Nilo receives the care he needs.
