Hey there, I'm Brenda!  

I'm here trying to raise money to cover university costs—not just for myself, but for my sister too. We both dream of studying biomedicine at a good university, but tuition is expensive and way out of our reach.  

At home, it's me, my sister, my mom, my dad, and my cat. Out of all of us, only my dad works, but his income is very low—it barely covers rent, water, and electricity bills. We don’t own our home, so rent is a big expense on top of daily necessities, which often leaves us struggling with debt and having to push bills to the next month.  

Even if we tried to save a little from his paycheck, it would be impossible to afford even one of our tuition fees. My dad is a construction worker and earns very little. Things have been tough, but we can’t give up on our education.  

I started this fundraiser hoping my sister and I can get into university and also help out at home. We live in Brazil and turned to international platforms because they tend to be more supportive and trustworthy.
