Hello, 

My Dad has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and but he does not have heath insurance since he was retired years ago. We are distraught as we cannot afford the chemotherapy (65,000 THB or 1,850 EUR per treatment). He would require at least 10 sessions. Due to our financial constraints, my Dad's chemo is on a waiting list. 

As for myself, a sole breadwinner, I have moved to Munich, Germany about 5 years ago and have been struggling to make ends meet. I was able to send back some money to my parents (about 200 EUR / month) to help with their expenses as their pension alone was hardly enough to get by each month, let alone visiting them in Thailand. 

To make the matter worse, I have recently been laid off a couple of months ago. Thus, I haven't been able to send them money at all. I really hope and really want to visit my family back in Thailand and help with Dad's chemo but I don't have any money. Despite all the pressure from the job center, I am unable to focus on my job search because I am worried about my Dad. 

The total cost of the treatment (chemo + radiation) would be around 30,500 EUR. All I am asking is for your financial support for my Dad's treatment. As previously mentioned, I would also like to go back to visit my Dad and support him emotionally until he beats his cancer. Therefore, part of the fund would be for my trip back to Thailand and for my rent in Germany because the job center will not pay for my unemployment benefits for much longer if I am not actively look for a job.
