Hello, my name is Kimberly, and I'm reaching out to you with an urgent plea for support. A close friend of mine and her child have been thrust into a devastating situation after tragically losing their husband, father, and family’s sole provider to a senseless act of violence.
Last week, in what should have been a peaceful morning, their lives were shattered during an overly aggressive FBI raid that left chaos in its wake. Their family’s sole provider, a military veteran, loving husband, and father was brutally shot and killed in their home. The trauma of that morning has left deep emotional scars on his wife and their young child, who narrowly escaped harm along with the toddler they were babysitting at the time. With the family’s world turned upside down, they are now grappling with overwhelming grief and financial uncertainty. The FBI’s inadequate response to the actions taken by their agents has further complicated their situation, leaving the family to deal with a ransacked home, legal battles, and countless repair costs. Basic necessities, therapy for their trauma, and the need to rebuild their lives hang in the balance.
This is where your generosity can make a significant difference. This campaign was launched to help cover living expenses, therapy, vehicle repairs, and legal fees as my friend and her child navigate this challenging new reality. Every dollar counts, and no contribution is too small. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your network to spread the word. Awareness is crucial in rallying support for this family during their time of need. In moments like these, we see the incredible power of humanity. So please let’s come together to help lift this family during a time of need. Your compassion and generosity can help provide hope and healing in the face of unimaginable loss. Thank you for your kindness.

Her house is starting to go back to normal, her front door has been repaired and is now usable thanks to her brother in-law, thanks to her siblings who traveled from Guam where she's originally from, half of her house has been cleaned up. Unfortunately less than a week after her husband’s memorial she and her siblings got news that her step father passed away resulting in her siblings having to return home sooner than expected. Her world is still upside down right now and while several steps have been taken to try and give some resemblance of normalcy, there is still a very long road ahead.
