On September14, 2024 [one week ago] Stephen Ballinger went to the emergency room due to a persistent cough with an acid reflux issue. This occurred after being checked for pneumonia by his doctor. The cough was severe causing pain throughout his chest area. The examination, via the emergency room physicians, came with a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Stephen and his wife Janiece were shocked! It has been one week since I sat down to prepare this note. The medical doctors sent Stephen home yesterday saying they could not do anything more. The Ballinger family is still trying to process this unfortunate news. Stephen and his wife Janiece have had no time to consider anything to honest! I mentioned to them today if I could set up a GIVESENDGO account whereby friends, family, and strangers would pray and perhaps donate to help cover the financial issues that are now in play. They welcomed the idea. I have known this family for over 15 years. They have served GOD and people long before I knew them. Will you help them and pray for them as they consider every option that is available. Stephen is already being treated with alternatives; dare I say natural medicine [and there are many.] My friend Stephen is one of those people you instantly admire. For me, I have appreciated this man for several years. He is a kind, good, decent man, I have personally recommended him to people needing his talent as a tradesman because, I knew he would not disappoint my customers; he never has! They need help, prayers, and people to hold them up through incredible upheaval that has shattered their daily lives. Be assured, this family loves GOD and is grateful for the redemptive blood of OUR Savior. The Kingdom of GOD uses us to be the difference. The Ballinger’s could use us now.
