My daughter, Leia, had a really hard childhood and was in and out of foster care. At 12, after her mother passed away, she came to my home as a foster child and I adopted her as a single Mom. She grew up got married and had two wonderful daughter's who are now are almost 17 (Kat) and one that is 15 (Kalynn). Although her and her husband both work, things are tight in this economy. Leia went to the ER at 4 am on the 1st of Feb. for extreme lower abdomenal pain. They first said colitis, but after keeping her a night, they did a colonoscopy only to find a mass. Emergency resection surgery by a full cut on her abdomen with now an ostomy bag, MRI, CT scan and several tests and biopsies later, we find that my daughter now has Stage 4 Colon cancer that is in her lymph nodes and her liver. Her life, at only 39 years old, has been turned upside down in less than a week and she still is in the hospital. Her job does not pay short term or long term disability pay, her deductible for her insurance is $3200. (her medical bills have already hit that) and max out of pocket is $7,600. We don't know when, or even if she will be able to go back to work, but if so, it won't be any time soon. I am asking from the bottom of my heart for any help that can be given to my daughter to help ease what is a medical financial hurricane when a cancer diagnosis of Stage 4 hits. We have no idea of how long she will need treatment, but she is a fighter, and she has two beautiful daughters that she would like to see graduate and grow up and marry. Please help her have that chance. We are also working with organizations for all avenues for any grants or financial aid. If you can not financially give, please give prayers: for complete healing, for strength for her and for the entire family as we maneuver around this devastating diagnosis. God bless, LaDonna -Leia's Mother. PS - PLEASE SHARE THIS

Wow - time has flown by and sorry for such a long break in-between. My garden went nuts and I have been canning, canning, canning. Now about the important topic! (drum roll please) My daughter!!
Leia went in for surgery on the 20th. It was a long grueling surgery as there was a lot of scar tissue they needed to remove. They did a long cut from breast bone to pubic and then a horizontal line from that cut outward on the left side about 5-6 inches. They removed part of her liver and thankfully the cancerous spots that were deeper were no longer seen on the PET scan. (In fact, no cancer was seen at all! Praise God!) Out came the gallbladder and then they removed her ostomy bag and hooked the colon back up and her pooper works once again!!
Leia was in the hospital for seven days and is now home. She will be off work until mid October. They are wanting her to do 4 more rounds of chemo, which requires 3 days off work each time with having the portable chemo ball. Her FMLA will be running out soon, so they will be floating on only Jacob's income which doesn't cover all their expenses. They are truly a two income household. If you feel led to donate to help them out during this time of financial stress, any amount given is greatly appreciated and will be used for bills and household expenses such as food. Of course we always ask for PRAYERS and SHARES of Leia's journey through this medical hurricane of cancer.
Picture today is of the beautiful flowers she received from her work. Not sure what they are but they are GORGEOUS! God bless everyone for keeping Leia in your thoughts and prayers - LaDonna, Leia's mom

So much to go over - Leia finished her 8th round of chemo and had another PET scan done - it looks all good! She will have an MRI done, meetings with the Oncologist and the Surgeon and then it looks like she will be able to get her ostomy bag removed and her colon back to normal. She will need to do some more chemo down the road for extra protection, but it is safe to say that prayers are being answered! God is good!
Leia will be in the hospital for at least 5 days from the surgery with a recoup time of 6-12 weeks depending on how things go with the surgery. She only has a couple weeks of FMLA still available, so she will be going in a no income status for a bit. We are sure that God will provide.
This latest picture shows Leia looking good with her hair come back already - even with doing the chemo. We appreciate everyone keeping the prayers and shares going as well as any donations to help with the down time. Once she goes in for surgery, we will start the Meal Train back up for a bit. Thank you all for being so supportive of my baby girl! signed, Leia's Happy Mother

The good: Leia had her biopsy of her lymph node done on Monday. They did it correctly this time up at Memorial North. The results? NEGATIVE for cancer. WooHoo!!!!
The bad: Leia was to of had her 7th chemo round today; however, her platelets have dropped to 74 and so no chemo this week - it has been put off until the platelets come back up. After her 8th round, another PET scan will be done and then some determining of when her resection reversal can take place! The object? To say goodbye to Mr. Ostomy Bag. He really is a crappy fellow that needs to go!
The ugly: The weather today has been more like Seattle. Chilly, cloudy and drizzling all day; however, even though it was ugly I am thankful for the rain.
My daughter celebrated her 40th this past weekend and has been such a trooper through all this. I am so proud of how she is facing this cancer hurricane head on. We appreciate all the prayers and shares and of course any donation that can be given is greatly appreciated as cancer comes with a financial burden.
Psalm 121:1-2, “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” In You, we find our hope and strength. Keep praying for Leia's complete cure from this nasty disease and for her to keep strong! God bless!

Latest update! So after Leia's PET scan - which lit up more than I cared for, she was set up several appointments. The biopsy for a lymph node in her armpit was done, but the Dr. who did the procedure - an ultrasound guided biopsy - still screwed up and grabbed tissue instead. At least we know she doesn't have breast cancer. That biopsy has been rest until Monday, the 17th.
Leia also had a double colonoscopy - via her ostomy and her rectum this past Tuesday. They found an area that is just inflamed - no cancer! Thank you Jesus! And they removed a couple polyps that are the kind that are cancer precursors. Glad those were removed!
She is still on her Foxfire for now, and after the lymph biopsy next week we are hoping for news that the ostomy reverse will take affect.
She is still deciding about second opinion - her insurance was able to send her a couple more names.
This weekend, on Saturday, Leia will turn the big 40. She is to excited to be able to celebrate that landmark age of when as an adult you start feeling certain aches and pains. She is willing to need reading glasses and need Advil for joint aches as long as this dang cancer will go away for good! Please keep her in your prayers, share this fundraiser info and if you feel led to donate any amount is greatly appreciated. She is still wracking up medical bills. I am not sure if her insurance has a max out of pocket. It doesn't seem to, or if it is, it is ridiculously high - like in the 5-6 figure range. God bless! LaDonna, Leia's mom

It has been almost a month since I posted. Why? Partially because of my own platter of stuff hat needs addressed, but also because I am concerned for my girl.
Since the last update Leia had a PET scan and although it showed the liver mets had decreased in size, it showed SUV uptake in numerous nodes in her chest and abdomen. The uptake showed by the stoma (We know they did not get clear margins), in her trasverse and a big uptake in the bowel on the right side pelvis area near a couple of suspicious lymph nodes. This was 2 weeks ago. Since then she had another treatment, which was harder for her from before, and they did a biopsy of one of the axillary nodes; however, the person who did the ultrasound guided biopsy totally screwed up and grabbed adipose tissue ( fat) instead of the lymph node. I am beyond aggravated, as is Leia. Our Oncologist, Dr. Lee, who we like, is at the mercy of radiology and surgeons, etc. getting back to him on the next step. Maybe a colonoscopy with a biopsy done through the colon wall. In the meantime, the waiting sucks.
We have discussed going to MD Anderson in Houston for a second opinion and to see what is available - but they are out of Network with Leia's HMO insurance plan and MD Anderson does not have financial aid for those out of state. We then checked with the Cancer center in Denver, which is connected to the NCCN as well, but they too are out of network.
As much as Leia hates the ostomy bag, she is really about quantity of life at this stage and will try to be patient until a reversal of the bag can be done.
Her insurance has given us two Dr names in network for 2nd opinions and I am researching both currently. In the meantime we are just waiting to hear back from Dr. Lee about the future tests to find out about the PET scan results. He said it could be infection (but Leia has not been sick, nor has had a fever - so that rules out that), inflammation (Leia religiously takes herbs, spices and natural supplements designed to keep inflammation down along with eating foods high in antioxidants.) Dr. Lee said at worse it could be Lymphoma - a rarity possibility. He is puzzled though.
I have my own thoughts and opinions and have been doing a ton of research. I think the waiting game is not healthy for mental status and it can cause more damage if something is not addressed in a timely manner if it needs be. I know God is ultimately in control and I just pray that He heals Leia. I worry about mutations changing even though I know I should not worry. Writing this post has been tough.
We are appreciative to those who continue to pray, those who share and those who give, no matter how much they donate. Just know we feel blessed for those out there following this cancer fiasco we find ourselves in. God bless- Leia's Mom, LaDonna

Well Leia was able to have her chemo treatment last Wednesday. This treatment was a little rougher on her. Friday, when they removed the pump she was given more fluids. She was still under the weather come Monday, but she continues to have a great fighting spirit throughout it all when it comes to beating cancer, but she is having some difficulty elsewhere.
Leia is having a tough time with the ostomy bag. She can't sleep on her side, she hates the smell of it, and it is taking a toll on her mentally. Please pray for her about this. We have no clue at this time as to when she can have a resection to put her bowels back to normal and it is really wearing her down. This is more cumbersome than going through chemo itself. On a happier note - her hair is coming back in!
The picture today is one of Leia with her old HS friend Jena.
We appreciate the shares and the prayers and of course any donations that will help with the bills that you accumulate when going through cancer.
God bless - LaDonna, Leia's Mom

Today Jacob was going to be taking Leia in for her chemo today. Sadly, she received this message this morning:
Your absolute neutrophil count (ANC) is low at 0.9 on yesterday's labs. This is too low to safely proceed with treatment today, so we will push it back one week. Infusion will reach out to reschedule that. And our clinic will also reach out to push back your next appt in the office by one week, so we're staying on schedule with those visits being pre-chemo and appropriately timed.
Low neutrophils (a type of white blood cell) places you at an elevated risk of infection. It is important to be particularly vigilant about avoiding this. Steps you can take include:
-Avoiding sick people as much as possible
-Avoiding crowds as much as possible
-Wearing a mask when out in stores or where any crowds are unavoidable
-Practicing good hand hygiene (washing them and using hand sanitizer)
-Ensuring all fresh fruits and vegetables are washed well
-Ensuring all meat and eggs are thoroughly cooked
Also, it's important to report any signs of infection promptly. If you begin to feel unwell, please notify us. You can call the nurse triage line at 719-365-2471 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday-Friday for any urgent questions or concerns. Outside of those hours, you can call 719-365-6568 and follow the prompts to reach the on-call physician. If you develop a fever of 100.4 or greater, we advise you to head to the emergency room and tell them you have neutropenic fever. It is imperative when your immune system is impaired that we act quickly at the first sign of infection to prevent further complications like treatment delays, hospitalization, or other such undesirable things.
PLEASE pray for her ANC to go up so they can do the chemo next week. Pray for complete healing. Share this information for other people to see and read so that they may PRAYER & SHARE. If you feel led to donate, it is most appreciated as cancer comes at a cost for families such as Leia's.
Today's picture is of Leia in another of the wigs that friends have given her. She is a true fighter and it shows in her smile.

Well it has been a hot minute since the last update. Leia's Uncle Alan, my brother, had a heart attack and ended up passing away - keeping me away in Missouri handling funeral and estate stuff while Darrell stayed here. Leia had her second chemo while I was gone. She has had bouts of nausea, some neuropathy, cold sensitivity and some other side effects, but things could be a lot worse. She is holding up like a champ - a fighter I am proud of. She will beat the Big C.
She will have two more rounds of treatment and then another PET scan to see how well the chemo is doing its job. Although they qualified for a small discount with the hospital, the bills are starting to come in. Their income is just a hair too high to really qualify for any major discount. (There are several different 'financial aid levels). This past weekend Leia shaved her head, her hair was breaking off and starting to come out. I wished I could have been there, but I was traveling back from Missouri. She has numerous wigs though - the picture today being one of them.
We greatly appreciate all those who have donated, those who continue to pray, share her story and help with the meal train. Make sure you hold your loved ones a little longer, tell them "I love you" more often and stay in touch more with your family out of town. Life is too short. - LaDonna

Well I picked up Leia and we are here in Oncology where she is getting her first treatment. She was a little concerned, but now is going with the flow and it is running smoothly. She has done the first set of drugs that included a steroid and Zofran. She has two hours of the double chemo concoction and then she will be getting a portable pump that will give her chemo at home for the next 46 hours. Sleeping may be interesting due to having an Ostomy bag on one side and the chemo pump on the other, so please pray for comfort for my baby girl (she is still that no matter how old she is) and that her side affects are super mild or non-existent.
Picture is here at the hospital. There are still openings for the meal train if you would like to cook them a dinner. We appreciate all the PRAYERS & SHARES of this GiveSendGo and appreciate any donations, no matter how small you throw this way. God is answering some of my prayers as we speak, as we are also dealing with her Uncle having a heart attack and numerous strokes back in Missouri. Seems like my plate has become a platter, but God is good and will get all this handled. God Bless.
PS On top of her head is a chemo buddy that glows in the dark that was made by one of Kathleen's friends. It is squishy for stress release. It is not a weird growth from the chemo.
March 11th, 2024
Since the last update, the liver biopsy came back with verification of the mets on the liver as we expected. One spot is close to the outer edge and will be easy to remove, but the other is deeper inside and would be a problem.
The Oncologist said that one blood test shows that Leia is not 'allergic' to the main chemo treatment, which is a good thing. Still waiting for one more test to come back - and I can't even remember what that one was. Trying to be patient through all this waiting. It has been hard, because when you get diagnosed with cancer, you are jut like, "Get it out of me! NOW!"
Tomorrow I will take her to the 'teaching' class. There, they will go over all the chemo info: side effects, how to control them, what to watch out for, what to do, what to avoid, how to take care of the pump, etc. A lot of information. Hopefully, we will hear soon on what day chemo will be started. They plan on hooking up a pump and sending her home for 46 hours with it - then return to have it removed.
We appreciate all the prayers to continue coming this way. We appreciate the sharing of this fundraiser as financially this a long hall for a family of four on a two person income now needing to get by on only one income. Of course, we are forever grateful if donate, no matter the amount as every bit helps on this journey through this cancer hurricane.

Yesterday Leia went in for her liver biopsy. It all went without any issues. She was sore afterwards. They did a biopsy on just one of the lesions. We are waiting for the report. The first doctor bill came in - this was 40. from the oncologist. We still haven't gotten anything from the hospital as they are waiting for insurance to respond. I am not sure why this is taking so long, but will be checking into it. We finally got the application down with the state short term disability plan, but have not heard a final approval from them as of yet. Hoping it will be soon, as Leia's last payday via work will be March 4th.
Next appointment will be March 8th with the oncologist to make the final arrangements for the chemo to begin. We want to thank everyone who is ready to jump on the meal train when chemo starts and thank everyone for all the prayers. It is greatly appreciated for everyone to continue to share this page to keep getting the coffers filled for when the medical bills start piling up. Since they are taking their sweet time getting the hospital bills out, it will be a sticker shock when the chemo costs pile up on top of the hospital bill.

So here it is the end of the week and we have several results in. The PET scan shows the 2 liver mets 1.2 cm and. 2.5 cm. One I believe is a little lower and could have been reached when the resection was done while the other one was further up and unreachable by the resection surgeon. Some uptake is shown in the gut area, which given they did not get clear margins, is to be expected.
It looks like this is not a genetic cancer, which is good news for the grandkids. It does have a KRAS p.G12C mutation that may allow for specific inhibitors if need be down the road.
We are going to be asking if the liver biopsy is even needed, or would the results of it change the treatment. That may end up getting cancelled if not really needed.
Of course, we always ask for your PRAYER & SHARE of this post. We also ask if you feel led to donate, the any amount is greatly appreciated. We put a low goal to begin with and we are not even near it. I know that God has it all figured out and will touch hearts if need be.
We hope you have a good weekend. Plan on taking grands to a fun event tomorrow to get their minds off stuff. I myself am dealing with sinus & congestion and am hoping to feel better by then!
Picture today is of Leia back in 2015 when I took her on a cruise to celebrate my remission from breast cancer. That is a live star fish she is holding. What a fun time we had.

The picture is of the bottom part of the categorized itemized bill. The total is from Feb 1-8th. Granted, the bill will be adjusted for the Insurance Company, but afterwards, right off the top is a $3200. deductible and then 25% of the remaining charges until $7600. is reached. Hoping there will be some discounts from the hospital - waiting to hear back from them about that. But then you figure out that this family of 4 was a two income household. Two car payments (Both cars were totaled in car accidents a couple years back) 2 teen girls, some credit card debt and past medical bills still owed, AND future medical bills is going to be super tight just on Jacob's income once Leia's state FAMLI leave payments stop. This Cancer Hurricane is something that could cause them to have to get rid of a vehicle and take a loss or even lose the roof over their heads. Please pray that God paves a way for them. Pray for donations to help them and mostly pray for Leia to be healed. God bless - LaDonna - Leia's Mom

Psalm 18:2 "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
Last night we received the lab results and Leia's CEA was up about ten points from before they removed the cancer mass. This test is kinda like a tumor marker test - giving you info on the cancer in your body. Is it growing - Is it shrinking. That kind of thing. Considering they REMOVED the mass and her CEA still went up is a little discerning. Please pray for it to just go away completely!
Today's picture is actually something that Kalynn, my 15 year old grand child wrote. She is such a caring child. Anytime we are out and about, she always compliments the cashier - their house, hair, necklace, nails, something - always something! She brings a smile every time.
I hope you can read her hand writing. She speaks for all of us. God Bless - LaDonna, Leia's Mom

So today I took Leia to the dr. office and she had 22 staples removed. He put those little bandage strips on and said to let them fall off naturally which will be 7-10 days. The Dr. told her the only restriction is no lifting more than 15 lbs. and that she can shower as normal! She is moving around good. We then went to oncology where she had about 6 viles of blood drawn and I picked up all the paperwork for FMLA and the FAMLI program. From there we went to billing and filled out the form to get an itemized bill of her hospital stay. They were called a couple times and we were told it was mailed and/or sent to the UCHealth app - but nothing has shown up anywhere. (What else is new? Lol)
She is excited to try juicing after watching module 4 of Chris Beats Cancer. She doesn't plan on following his protocol all the way, but I am hoping what she does do is helpful. It is soooo important to get the immune system at it's peak performance before starting chemo!
I verified that the insurance is pre-approved for the PET scan on Thursday morning and we trying to find a sensitivity test for the chemo for her. The dr. is having an issue with that as it is not normal protocol, but to me it makes sense to make sure the chemo will work on her. If no test comes available, she will go ahead and still start it.
Thank you again for all the donations, PRAYERS & SHARES and heartfelt wishes. We are truly blessed..... May God bless you all for your generosity.
We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

Leia went to a regular GP visit today. Said she was healing nicely. Monday the staples will be removed. Still no word about the paperwork filled out. I will hound them first thing on Monday.
Today I took Kathleen out for her birthday. We had a fun day of shopping and doing lunch. I was glad to be able to give her a little bit of fun. Watched the 3rd module of Square One - the videos from the Chris Beat Cancer guy. Am getting ready to watch part 2 of #3 which is all about nutritional eating. Sent the video for Leia to watch as well since she is the one needing to follow this. Powerful videos!!
Thank you again for all your PRAYERS & SHARES, donations, meal train, lending an ear to vent, and just being here with us on this journey. It is so greatly appreciated and may God bless each and every one of you.
The picture today is Leia, me and the girls when they were little. It was at Jose Muldoon's way back when. I feel God has this situation in His hands. Strong & courageous we all shall be.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Today the oncology office verified that they will get the pre-approval for the PET scan on the 22nd going asap as well as the liver biopsy on the 29th. Still waiting for the paperwork from them to turn in for FMLA and FAMLI. Leia is making progress with her healing from the surgery. I am not sure how many staples she has total, but I know she would make a metal detector go off for sure. They all should be removed on the 19th (hopefully). Today was one of the girls' birthday. Hard for a teen to celebrate when your mom is going through cancer. Hopefully we can still make it worthwhile for Kathleen.
I met a woman today that has been cancer free from stage 4 colon cancer for 20 years. God put her in my path, as I was having a rough morning worrying about my daughter. She said she changed all her diet and used a program called NEWSTART program. I am also watching CHRIS BEAT CANCER modules that are available for free right now (that popped up as an add on FB). I forwarded this all to Leia for her to read and watch as well. God is definitely giving signs of the best way to make sure this goes away and doesn't come back!
Thank you for all those reaching out, cooking, praying, donating and sharing. The family is so grateful for everything that family, friends and strangers are doing for them. It warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes. The picture today is Christmas 2022.
This is the verse I am turning to going forward through this journey with my daughter: Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10. NKJV

Yesterday I took Leia to the oncologist. We were there for over an hour talking to him. Mistie was with us on FaceTime from Arizona (her sister). They will be doing a CT guided biopsy on her liver. Several blood tests to check for genetics, a chemo sensitivity test and a few other things. We are trying to get the PET scan approved ahead of time before we schedule it so that we don't have to wait for the pre-approval after we schedule (we all know how that works!). Some of the numbers that the doctor gave us was not encouraging, as stage 4 colon is not a good cancer, but we are positive and looking at God to come through in helping Leia beat this. The chemo will be started in March sometime. She will have a pump that goes home attached to the port for a 46 hour period. Financially the medical bills have not showed up at the door yet - but I am trying to keep track and they are over 4 grand owed so far. We appreciate any donations - none are too small and ask that you say a PRAYER & SHARE this post. God Bless.
Picture today is one I took a couple days ago of Leia and Jacob. Jacob does not like his picture taken, but he obliged me for this one. He is a good son-in-law and my daughter is truly blessed to have him as he is a good caregiver.

The amount of energy and time to research, fill out paperwork, request insurance approvals, etc is mind boggling. Tomorrow we go see the oncologist and get the hard questions answered. Please pray for positive answers and peace no matter what the day brings.
This update has a message from my granddaughter Kathleen (only I get to call her that, everyone else calls her Kat). She will be 17 this week and does not want to do anything for her birthday. This is NOT how a teenager should be reacting about their birthday. She keeps things locked up inside, and I know she is scared and worried - but she does not share those feelings. This is HER message for everyone (It is exactly how she wrote it:
I wanna start this off by thanking everyone who has been supportive to my mother. As everyone knows, she has cancer and can't afford anything. However, with your help, we have managed to raise money and get food (which is wonderful!) I mainly wanna talk about how grateful I am as it helped my mother so much. She may not say it, but it's much appreciated and without your help, I'm not sure on what we'd be doing. Thank you!

(my granddaughter who is way mature for her 16 years) Picture is of Kathleen and her younger sister, Kalynn. I took this picture in winter 2022 when we went to the Nutcracker. Please say a PRAYER & SHARE

This morning I delivered a variety of the stuff to help with immunity and inflammation, cancer fighting herbs and powders such as Chuga, Elderberry, Ginger. I picked up fresh lemons for her water to help with getting her system alkaline vs acidic. Leia was in good spirits as was the rest of the family. Still deciding which place is best for a Vitamin C infusion. We tried to get the CO Famili app on her phone to finish that but we will have to call on Monday to talk to technical support. Monday will be a busy day. Jacob did their budget and they will have to really tightened their belt to get by just on his income. I will sign them up for food pantries. Leia will call Xfinity to see if they will lower the wi-fi bill. They do not have cable as it is. We all say Thank You to everyone who has donated. Our hearts feel the love from your donations and your Prayers & Shares. God bless you all for helping through what will be a long fight.
Today's picture will be one that Jacob took of Leia awhile back. It shows her playful side and is a good fun picture. Thank you all again for helping in Leia's cancer journey. God bless - LaDonna

So Leia got to sleep at home last night. The family is very happy about that. We are looking at getting her a vitamin C infusion. I ordered some organic Ceylon cinnamon, Turmeric, Chuga powder, organic ginger for her to use in smoothies in the morning. I will also pick up some elderberry for her and already gave her a big bottle of Vitamin C. A friend is setting up a meal train while she is healing from the surgery and for during chemo times if they get rough. Still having some people researching more natural approaches and alternative meds. Tinctures, essential oils..... we are looking at it all. She is going on an immunity building, anti -inflammatory diet.
Today we will see about getting the hospital stay bill and we will be setting up the PET scan too. We did find out that through the state she gets 12 weeks of family pay. It isn't near her normal pay, but it will help ease things overall and will help keep the lights on.
Today's picture is one I took awhile back when we went to see the ice sculptures in Cripple Creek. Leia with Kathleen and Kalynn (when the grandkids were shorter than me). Given it is cold and snowy, I think this pick fits the day.
Thank you again for all those who are donating, and doing PRAYERS & SHARES. We are truly blessed to know so many good people. God bless - LaDonna

Leia is getting a port this morning and then will be able to go home later today bar nothing else comes up. We are looking into some homeopathic stuff to do ASAP, as the oncologist said she has to heal from the surgery before they will start chemo and that will be at least 4 weeks.
Her spirit is up and she is ready to fight the big 'C' with all her might. She will be getting a PET scan done here in a week or two. My prayer is for a miracle and that all the cancer is gone just by the homeopathic route.
Financially, they have obtained about 4000. grand in bills already. Looking over the budget, if they can get Leia's car paid off they could possibly squeeze by on just Jacob's income. A lot depends on what medical costs will be and if she can avoid the need of home health care.
Thank you all for your PRAYERS and SHARES and thank you donations. God bless, LaDonna
