Greetings in the name of Jesus!

My name is Candace Johnson and I am looking to raise funds for my up-and-coming dance theatre company entitled, “L.I.T"- Living in Truth Christian Dance Company. I am raising funds at this time in order to secure a rehearsal venue where company dancers can have an adequate space in which to rehearse. This would be the first phase in the formulation of this new and unique dance company.

It has been my dream and my passion to be a choreographer and have my own dance company. As the Lord would have it, I was not afforded the opportunity to dance on a secular dance troupe and I know that it is because the Lord wants me to dance for Him only! Since 2013, the Lord has laid this concept on my heart and now in 2024, I am finally stepping out in faith and facing my fears!

And for this reason I am coming before you today. I have launched a crowd funding campaign to help raise funds for rehearsal space expenses as well as expenses toward a performance venue and other company costs for the 2024 performance year. Currently I am seeking to reach my 6 month goal of $3840. I am writing to ask for your support for my cause. Just a small donation in the amount of $40 will help go towards securing rehearsal space on a weekly basis. If the Lord leads you, you can become a monthly supporter!

I am hoping that you will see the value in supporting this Christian dance company that seeks to utilize the medium of dance and drama to spread the life changing message of the Gospel to youth, young adults and others in the Harford and Baltimore, Maryland regions. It is my hope to win souls for Christ while providing a wholesome, fun and safe alternative to unfavorable activities that may attract our youth of today.
