My Friend Peter Muchko, struggled with drugs and alcohol most of his life, and struggled with his weight, living an unhealthy lifestyle. He was born into a broken home, his mother left him when he was a young boy, leaving him and his sister, to be raised by their dad, who was struggling with some issues as well. Pete’s father passed away several years ago, which caused Pete to dive deeper into drugs and alcohol and weight gain issues. And his mother is not involved in his life.

Nearly 3 years ago, Pete surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, who broke the chains of addiction in his life, and he has been drug and alcohol free for nearly 3 years, and has lost over 120 pounds in this miraculous transformation of Jesus Christ in his life. Pete believes God has called him into ministry to help people like himself..

Unfortunately, Pete’s sister died from a drug overdose in 2023, and he no longer has any living family in the state of Minnesota. Peter still lives in the basement renting a room from a drug addict as he has no nowhere else to go. Praise the Lord he is still clean and on fire for Jesus in the middle of the storm.

We are trying to get Pete down to Florida, to start a new life with me (Joe) and my family, Christ broke my chains of addiction, and I have been clean for nearly 4 years and God has restored my entire family and placed us in Florida. This way he can be around us as we are the only family obviously not blood, but friends he has left. His support system.

We are trying to find him a place to live, and to move all his possessions down. Any help would be appreciated, to help him start a new life in Florida. To help cover the cost of rent for a month or so in an apartment or another place to live, and allow him to get on his feet, and start working a new job.

We have prayed over this and trust God to provide his needs, and felt led to reach out for help, we pray God will lead your heart to give.
