As many of you may or may not know, my son, Luke Buccino, was diagnosed with Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on 6/28/23. Luke is at a stage 1B and has an encouraging prognosis. Luke will need to go through several months of chemotherapy treatment but it’s a curable cancer.🙏

The treatment is going to be grueling and Luke will be out of work for a significant period of time. We are praying for minimal side effects but we are realistic that it will be rough for awhile. The skilled doctors that are working on Luke’s case have informed us of what to expect and we all have faith that Luke will get through this trial in his young adult life only to emerge stronger physically as well as spiritually! Facing challenging times can do that to a person but if anyone will kick cancers butt, it’s our Luke. Everyone who knows Luke, loves Luke!!! And so many of you have reached out to us with an outpouring of support, asking what you can do to help so that Luke can pay his living, medical, and personal expenses during this difficult time.

Having less anxiety and peace of mind, while focusing on his physical well being, is of utmost importance and we appreciate all of you who have reached out with concern. We don’t want anyone to feel obligated to donate or to give what they don’t have, that isn’t the purpose of this campaign. We just wanted a place for people to give who have been asking how they can help. Many of you have asked how you can help and any gift God places on your heart to help us financially will be greatly appreciated.

On 7/20/23, treatment will begin. We will leave this up the whole time during treatment so that people can give as they can. We also believe in the power of prayer and welcome any and all of them! There is a place on the site you can type your prayers for Luke. I don’t know why Luke must go through this but I am positive that God won’t take him where his character won’t keep him 🙏
