Sean Mahoney was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

For those that don’t know Sean, he began his career with the Secret Service in 2001 as a Uniformed Division Officer. After transferring to Special Agent, Sean was assigned to the Miami Field Office. Sean then went on to graduate among the ranks of the elite Counter Assault Team where he served for 3 years. Sean continued his decorated career in the Presidential Protective Division where he served for an additional 3 years. Sean is also a member of the exclusive Secret Service Rescue Swimmer program. Sean's outstanding reputation followed him to his current assignment in the Tampa Field Office.

Sean is an avid fitness enthusiast. He enjoys skiing, swimming, outdoor activities, and live music.
