On Friday, October 15, 2021 six employees left the office for the last time, carrying their remaining belongings and saying goodbye to friends and co-workers. Our company, The San Diego Regional Center for the Developmentally Disabled, a state-funded social service agency, “Terminated” our employment. 

We six were all in good standing, our span of time with the agency was from 5 to 22 years, many of us had been honored as “Employees of Distinction,” yet we were effectively FIRED. The reason was that we stood firm on our religious decision as CHRISTIANS, against taking injections using aborted fetal cell lines in their development, use and/or production. Our Christian belief prohibits any participation with the killing of innocent life and the desecration of the baby’s remains, such as using their organs as experimental “lab rats” for medical experimentation. 

The six of us all came to the very painful decision that we could not compromise with our employer’s ILLEGAL vaccine “mandate,” which would be akin to condoning evil. We could not do that no matter the cost to each of us personally. We six, along with other employees, attempted to exercise our right to freedom to practice our religion and filed requests for “Religious Exemptions” based on our deeply help Christian beliefs. We were ALL categorically DENIED.

We are now FIGHTING BACK with legal litigation against our previous employer, like so many other Health-Care workers; nurses, doctors, and hospital staff. We are not just fighting for ourselves but for JUSTICE and your right to practice your religion, in a country that was established as a harbor for religious liberty!
