I received a text this morning from Jamie Adamkiewicz stating that Jim Danaher, a vibrant classmate and friend, had left us far too soon. He passed away suddenly last night and the shock of the news hit hard as we all struggle to come to terms with this immense loss.

Jim was more than just a classmate; he was an incredible soul who brought so much joy and warmth into every room. And now, his wife—who is also part of our community—is left reeling from the tragic loss.

I have heard that he and his wife were planning on moving back to Michigan as they were living in Alabama for the past few years. Unfortunately however, life took an unfair turn and at the time that Jim’s health took a decline, neither he or his wife were employed. 

The cost of all that's required to bring Jim back home for burial has become overwhelming in their time of grief, so you can only imagine how difficult it must be for them to cover funeral expenses and other moving costs. 🙏

We are now coming together as a community to help ease this burden on our dear friends' hearts during these dark times—but we need your support! The goal is to raise $15,000 (US dollars) in total to assist with the expenses that they have incurred and will face ahead.
