Leah has been a loyal employee for years, and was working in the office with branch employees and customers without testing herself every week to prove that she isn't sick. Not a single reported instance of sickness has ever been linked to her, and yet after years of this faithful service for a company she once loved, the company in question decided to change words on a sheet of paper to force her to test herself every week. She was then stuck in a difficult spot because she, much like myself and many others, can not take part in furthering the lie of this scamdemic, and as such she could not take part in this testing without violating her own faith. For as it is written in James 4:17, "So for one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin." I know not everyone holds to this position regarding testing, but we must each hold to our convictions lest we sin.

Knowing that taking part in furthering this lie would make her complicit in it, she could not do so. So she informed her leadership that she could not take part, making clear that this is based on her sincerely held faith, and requested an exemption. Well, after many emails in which the company insisted that (even though she had been doing the exact same thing for nearly the last two years), her decisions were now a major threat to her fellow coworkers and those who visit the branch office, and she was given a choice. Bend the knee and comply with our demands, or we'll fire you. Or, per her beliefs, knowingly sin against your God, or we'll take away your livelihood. Why? Well, because they changed policy in the last month, literally weeks before paying out her bonus from the last year of work. They didn't even allow her to use her stockpile of leave to make it to her bonus that she earned, they just fired her outright after denying her religious exemption request. They also did nothing to even consider taking into account antibodies or her basic freedom to not be treated like a leper.

So the desire of this GiveSendGo is to help. This almost certainly wont replace her income, nor will it replace the bonus she would have gotten if she had bent the knee, but it can help.

So, if you are willing and able to donate something, please feel free to do so. If funds aren't available, please say a prayer for her and her family (including kids), that employment elsewhere will be gainful and fruitful, and that a good lawyer is able to rectify this injustice.
