Electoral Process Education Corp. (EPEC Team), a 501 c(3) nonprofit charity focused on voter participation and election technology, is raising funds to defray the cost of acquiring complete records of the 2024 Presidential Election from Virginia Precincts.

The FOIA Fees can run as high as $30,000 for all 133 localities across the Commonwealth, according to estimates we have received. Instead, we are raising funds for key localities to keep our costs around $7,000.00

EPEC is looking to raise $2,500 a month for this campaign. All donations are earmarked for this project.

We are focused on collecting the "Statement of Results" that the ballot tabulators produce in key precincts, which the public has the right to inspect for 60 days after an election.

Local General Registrars provide an estimate of time and materials to produce the records. Some have been helpful and responsive to their roles as overseeing transparent elections.They range from $600 per locality to more depending on the population of the voting precincts.

Our Campaign Goal is to help grassroots volunteers defray the costs of acquiring the records from the tabulator machines in precincts. We are grateful to GRs that are working with us on these requests and for the public's support.

We intend to publish our findings to help the public understand the full range of records in an election.
