Our friend, brother, son, Dad, father and husband, Timmy Dowd, recently suffered a massive stroke on the left side of his brain. Due to the location of the brain bleed, Timmy’s right side is paralyzed and his speech has been severely impaired.

Currently, he is hospitalized at Allegheny General Hospital in the ICU-Neuro Section under the care of the best medical personnel in the world.

Timmy’s blood pressure continues to be a major concern as doctors are unable to maintain proper levels. His lungs have been compromised and there is an infection somewhere in his body that antibiotics are working hard to find and defeat. Therefore, Timmy remains under sedation to help manage his healthcare in the best way possible.

Although Timmy has some medical coverage, the cost of this top tier medical care is unbelievably costly and we are hoping to relieve some of the costly burden of Timmy’s care from Chrissy and her family.

We decided to help Chrissy, and the Dowd family, by creating a “GiveSendGo page”.

This page was created because we had to do something to help and to find a way to tell his family how MUCH HE IS LOVED.
